These are sample/trial sizes of oils and moisturizers that were free or point perks from Sephora.
1. Tarte Maracuju Oil ($55 CAD for 1.7 ounces)
I liked this, it absorbed into the skin quickly and left it soft. I used it on my face and neck. I wouldn't purchase it because there is another face oil from Algenist that I fell in love with.
2. Dr. Brandt Ruby Crystal Retinol Hydracreme ($80 CAD for 1.7 ounces)
I loved this moisturizer, it absorbs well and brightens the skin. I have sensitive skin but this didn't irritate it at all, which was surprising since it contains Retinol. I would definitely purchase a full size but it's very pricey so I'm using up some other samples first. ;)
3. Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil ($35 CAD for 2.2 ounces). I loooove this. It looks kind of like petroleum jelly when you squeeze it out but the comparison ends there. It smells like tangerines and feels so moisturizing. It takes a little while to sink in but works amazing on extra dry skin like mine! You can use it on your face and body. I already purchased a full size. :)
4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Illuminating Serum -I think this has been renamed Amazonian Clay BB Illuminating Moisturizer ($42 CAD for 1.7 ounces)
I like the look of full coverage foundation but I also have very dry skin so I thought I'd give this a try in place of foundation and it's lovely! It doesn't provide a lot of coverage but had a flattering sheer finish. My favorite of all the BB creams I've tried. I already bought a full size.
5. Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil ($60 CAD for 1.7 ounces)
I prefer this to the Tarte Maracuju Oil because I use it for skin body and hair and it just seems more versatile. Absorbs well, no obvious scent, a little goes a long way! I haven't bought a full size but have used points to get the 15ml size when it's been available ($20 CAD if you're not using points to get it)
6. Josie Maran Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment ($70 CAD for 1 ounce)
This is amazing!! My skin felt soooo soft after using this. I really want a full size but can't justify buying it when I still have other free samples to use up but OMG my dry skin is in love.
7. Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil Light ($60 for 1.7 ounces)
This is similar to the original just a little more lightweight. Honestly I think I'd just prefer to use less of the original type since they are the same price. I can see people with thin hair preferring it if that's the main thing they're using it for. I have super thin & fine hair and didn't find enough of a difference to want to buy this over the original.
8. Ole Henrickson Sheer Transformation moisturizer ($48 CAD for 1.7 ounces)
It claims to exfoliate and fade dark spots. I didn't use it long enough to notice much of a difference in dark spots but I loved how quickly it absorbed and it kept my skin moisturized all day. Great for under makeup.
These samples were all winners for me. If you're able to get some free samples of any of them you should try them out!
