L'Oreal Infallible Le Rouge

L'Oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick!

These new L'oreal Infallible lipsticks have great staying power and also no perfumey smell!!! I'm excited! I guess that's why I bought so darn many!

Left To Right: Summer Rose {Limited Edition} (255), Beyond Blushing (129), Charismatic Coral (421), Always Apricot (425), Eternal Rose (227), Rambling Rose (212) & Tender Berry (519).

Left To Right: Rambling Rose (212), Tender Berry (519), Enduring Berry (130), Forever Fuschia (138), Red Fatale {Limited Edition} (343), Blazing Sangria (714), Ravishing Red (312).

Left To Right: Forever Fuschia (138), Red Fatale {Limited Editon} (343), Blazing Sangria (714), Ravishing Red (312), Refined Ruby (337) & Bold Bordeaux (741).

I love the texture of these lipsticks, and they have great staying power. Red Fatale (343) is the perfect warm red cream-One of my faves! Too bad it's limited edition, I hope they bring this one back! My other favorite red from this line is Ravishing Red which is a unique type of shade. It's a slightly cool red but with gold shimmer which brings in warmth with the cool:) Forever Fuschia looks dupey to MAC Show Orchid because of the blue shimmer it has but I don't own MAC Show Orchid so I can't say for sure. Summer Rose is a beautiful bright coral. I find all the other shades with the word 'Rose' in them wearable "your lips but better" type shades. The only colour I *sort of * regret is Beyond Blushing (129) because it looks super frosty and pale on me but I think i could put it on my lower lip as a centre highlight and make it work. If you can't afford Lancome Rouge In Love I think L'Oreal Infallible is a fantastic alternative. As you can see, I love them both!! ❤
❤ I'm In Love with Lancome's Rouge In Love ❤

Left To Right: Ever So Sweet (128 M), Miss Coquelicot (146 B), Madame Tulip (156 B), Dans Ses Bras (163 M), & Sequins D'Amour (170 N)

Left To Right: Sequins D'Amour (170 N), Rouge Saint Honore (181 N), Rouge Valentine (185 N), & Jolie Rosalie (275 M).

Left To Right: Jolie Rosalie (275 M), Violine Lamee (277 N), Rose Boudoir (340 B), & Rose Pitimini (353 M).

These lipsticks are very unique in texture. They feel pretty weightless on and also feel slightly greasy/slippery when applying but then set on your lips without losing their shine. They don't feel drying on the lips and live up to the 6-Hour staying power claim in my experience. They will kiss off/transfer if your lips touch something but that didn't bother me. I love them!! ❤

Pale Concealers

Pale Concealers!!

All of these concealers are the palest shades available in each formula (MAC ones are both NC 15). Maybe one will be pale enough for you!!

Left To Right: L'Oreal Magic Lumi in Fair, Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer in 1, Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer in Extra Light, MAC Studio Sculpt in NC 15, Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Stick in CIA, MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC 15, Maybelline Superstay Concealer in Light, Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer in Porcelain.

Left To Right: L'oreal Magic Lumi in Fair, MUFE Full Cover in 1, ELDW concealer in Extra Light, MAC Studio Sculpt NC 15, UD 24/7 in CIA, MAC Studio Finish NC 15, Maybelline Superstay in Light.

Left To Right: MAC Studio Finish NC 15, Maybelline Superstay in Light, Kat Von D Tattoo concealer in Porcelain.

My favorite concealer by far is Estee Lauder Double Wear in Extra Light. The colour is perfect and the texture blends well and even works well under the eyes. MUFE and Kat Von D are both quite heavy but are great for spot concealing. Kat Von D Porcelain is the lightest of all these concealers-too light even for me! MAC Studio Sculpt is quite heavy but blends well for under eyes. Unfortunately I found when I put it under my eyes it made my waterproof liner run because it seems a little greasy. MAC Studio Finish is a great consistency but doesn't have the lasting power of ELDW. Urban Decay 24/7 was nice but I didn't love the texture for under the eyes. The Maybelline looks really pale when you first put it on but oxidizes to a pinky colour. The L'Oreal Magic Lumi is quite pink too. It works okay as a brightener but I wish it were paler and less pinky.
So Kat Von D is the palest followed by UD 24/7, then ELDW. MUFE, and the two MACs are similar in paleness and all oxidize a *tiny* bit darker than when you 1st apply them. Maybelline and L'oreal both have a weird pink hue that didn't work on me but may work for you. One concealer type product that isn't in this post is one of my favorites that I can't find! It is the L'Oreal True Match Touch Magique in W1-2. It is nice and pale and also yellow based, which can be hard to find in drug store concealers. It also gives decent medium coverage. I will post a pic once I find it lol. Please feel free to ask any questions about concealers or anything else! ❤

Pale Foundation

Pale Foundation Swatches!!

For all you pale girls and guys out there, this post will include swatches of all my palest foundations. Warning-Pics of my foundation bottles are disgusting, view at your own risk!!

Foundations in this post: Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush in Vanilla, Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover in Very Light, Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Foundation in Fair, Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell, Revlon Photo Ready in Ivory, NARS Sheer Matte in Siberia, SmashBox Studio Skin 14 Hour Foundation in 1.1, Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + in Ivory, L'oreal Visible Lift Serum in Soft Ivory, MAC Studio Sculpt in NC 15, Revlon Age Defying with DNAdvantage in Fresh Ivory, Revlon ColorStay in Ivory. All of these foundations are the lightest shades available in each formula except for the NARS which I think has a lighter shade than Siberia.

So that's a lot of photos, but foundation photographs are tricky!! They can appear quite different with or without flash, so I included both. I apologize for Revlon Age Defying & Colorstay getting the short end of the stick (and my arm)! I know they are harder to see because of my wrist wrinkles. I may update with better swatches of those two.
I'll give you my thoughts on pale foundation. It is always better to try it on in person and wear it around for a few hours before buying. Why wait? Foundation can oxidize when exposed to air and change colour quite drastically. For pale girls and guys this can be especially troubling. You find your perfect shade only to find it turned orange once you've had it on for an hour! My worst experience with this was Dior Forever Foundation (not pictured here). The lightest shade was still a *hair* dark for me but I bought it anyway because I loved the formula. I never got a chance to wear it in public because when I tried it on at home I quickly turned a gross orange colour, lol.
I didn't find any of these foundations oxidized badly on me. Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush has been rumored to oxidize-It got a little darker on me but it's main problem was that it gave terrible, patchy (yet glittery) coverage. My favorite of all the foundations was the first full cover foundation I ever bought-Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell. I have yellow undertones so I was surprised it worked so well. I had to go with the cool toned (1C1) Shell because the other 1 shades (Bone and Ecru) were too dark for me. I love full coverage! I also have dry skin so that can be problematic. Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum cover is a little too mask-like/grey for all over usage but I still like it for problem areas and to mix with other foundations. Tarte AC 12 Hour was a nice colour and more yellow toned that ELDW Shell but I didn't like the texture as much. The lightest foundations by far were NARS Siberia and MUFE Mat Velvet + in Ivory. I didn't like the texture of either of these on my skin but they are matte so you may love them if you have oilier skin. The Smashbox Studio Skin was the darkest by far and had an unflattering grey hue to it. Me no like but the coverage is great (full). L'Oreal Visible Lift Serum had great texture and coverage and I felt like it made my skin look nicer but I wish there was a shade a tiny bit paler and yellower than Soft Ivory which was a little pink for me. MAC Studio Sculpt was a great colour and texture. Quite heavy feeling which i don't mind but some may not like the *slightly* greasy feel.  Revlon ColorStay in Ivory had great coverage but is pinker that ELDW Shell in my opinion. I like ELDW texture better than ColorStay but ELDW is also more than twice the price of Revlon ColorStay. Revlon Photo Ready Original has a nice texture and the colour is nice and pale but it is not enough coverage for me. Revlon Age Defying had a nice texture but also not enough coverage for me. It also leaned a little too pink for my yellow-ness. Note that Revlon Photo Ready, Photo Ready Airbrush & Age Defying all contain glitter. I like the glitter but many do not so I thought it was worth a mention. If you don't like full coverage foundation and you don't have dry skin you may not like the same foundations I liked. I hope the swatches were helpful!! ❤

Nails Of The Day!  Darling Diva Polish in Gold Dust Woman

Gold Dust Woman is a beautiful gold holographic nail polish with various glitter shapes including round, square and stars! It would make a great topcoat but I wanted to show how pretty it looks solo! Darling Diva Polish can be purchased on etsy. ❤
Too Faced Naked Eye Palette

Swatched (Left to Right) over a layer of Urban Decay Shadow Insurance :
In The Buff, Birthday Suit, Pink Cheeks, Pillow Talk, Satin Sheets, Lap Dance, Like A Virgin, Unmentionables & Stiletto

In The Buff, Birthday Suit, Pink Cheeks, Pillow Talk, Satin Sheets

Satin Sheets (looks dirtier in the swatch than  in real life-it is a shimmery gold /light pink colour), Lap Dance, Like A Virgin, Unmentionables & Stiletto.

In The Buff, Like A Virgin & Stiletto are matte shades, the rest are shimmery. This is a beautiful palette, all the colours are wins for me! I apologize for Satin Sheets looking 'dirty' in the pictures. The palette comes with a cute little double ended brush in a drawer under where the shadows are. Price is $44 CAD. Too Faced shadows have great pigmentation and creamy texture. Well worth the price for 9 lovely shadows. I find the shades in general lean cool, except Satin Sheets which is a beautiful gold pink.  ❤
