For all you pale girls and guys out there, this post will include swatches of all my palest foundations. Warning-Pics of my foundation bottles are disgusting, view at your own risk!!
Foundations in this post: Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush in Vanilla, Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover in Very Light, Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Foundation in Fair, Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell, Revlon Photo Ready in Ivory, NARS Sheer Matte in Siberia, SmashBox Studio Skin 14 Hour Foundation in 1.1, Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + in Ivory, L'oreal Visible Lift Serum in Soft Ivory, MAC Studio Sculpt in NC 15, Revlon Age Defying with DNAdvantage in Fresh Ivory, Revlon ColorStay in Ivory. All of these foundations are the lightest shades available in each formula except for the NARS which I think has a lighter shade than Siberia.

So that's a lot of photos, but foundation photographs are tricky!! They can appear quite different with or without flash, so I included both. I apologize for Revlon Age Defying & Colorstay getting the short end of the stick (and my arm)! I know they are harder to see because of my wrist wrinkles. I may update with better swatches of those two.
I'll give you my thoughts on pale foundation. It is always better to try it on in person and wear it around for a few hours before buying. Why wait? Foundation can oxidize when exposed to air and change colour quite drastically. For pale girls and guys this can be especially troubling. You find your perfect shade only to find it turned orange once you've had it on for an hour! My worst experience with this was Dior Forever Foundation (not pictured here). The lightest shade was still a *hair* dark for me but I bought it anyway because I loved the formula. I never got a chance to wear it in public because when I tried it on at home I quickly turned a gross orange colour, lol.
I didn't find any of these foundations oxidized badly on me. Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush has been rumored to oxidize-It got a little darker on me but it's main problem was that it gave terrible, patchy (yet glittery) coverage. My favorite of all the foundations was the first full cover foundation I ever bought-Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell. I have yellow undertones so I was surprised it worked so well. I had to go with the cool toned (1C1) Shell because the other 1 shades (Bone and Ecru) were too dark for me. I love full coverage! I also have dry skin so that can be problematic. Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum cover is a little too mask-like/grey for all over usage but I still like it for problem areas and to mix with other foundations. Tarte AC 12 Hour was a nice colour and more yellow toned that ELDW Shell but I didn't like the texture as much. The lightest foundations by far were NARS Siberia and MUFE Mat Velvet + in Ivory. I didn't like the texture of either of these on my skin but they are matte so you may love them if you have oilier skin. The Smashbox Studio Skin was the darkest by far and had an unflattering grey hue to it. Me no like but the coverage is great (full). L'Oreal Visible Lift Serum had great texture and coverage and I felt like it made my skin look nicer but I wish there was a shade a tiny bit paler and yellower than Soft Ivory which was a little pink for me. MAC Studio Sculpt was a great colour and texture. Quite heavy feeling which i don't mind but some may not like the *slightly* greasy feel. Revlon ColorStay in Ivory had great coverage but is pinker that ELDW Shell in my opinion. I like ELDW texture better than ColorStay but ELDW is also more than twice the price of Revlon ColorStay. Revlon Photo Ready Original has a nice texture and the colour is nice and pale but it is not enough coverage for me. Revlon Age Defying had a nice texture but also not enough coverage for me. It also leaned a little too pink for my yellow-ness. Note that Revlon Photo Ready, Photo Ready Airbrush & Age Defying all contain glitter. I like the glitter but many do not so I thought it was worth a mention. If you don't like full coverage foundation and you don't have dry skin you may not like the same foundations I liked. I hope the swatches were helpful!! ❤
